Comment on Interview With An Ex-‘Jesus Christian’ – Ten Years On by Ufuomaee.

Maybe a JW would be better for expressing their core beliefs. From what I know, they say that God the Father is greater than Jesus, who they believe is the Son of God. I agree with that. I shared my understanding on the doctrine of the trinity in my post, THE SPIRIT OF GOD. I have always believed that we won’t fully understand nor appreciate this relationship between Father and Son and how they are both God and eternally co-existing, but I believe God granted me more clarity as He gave me inspiration to write that post.

Christians have been divided by doctrine forever, and doctrine is very important. However, the most important commandment is to love one another as Christ loves us, and I think we all fall short in this regard, especially when we start splitting hairs over doctrine. The core of the gospel message is that Christ died for our sins, and He has risen and will return for us, and all who believe will live forever with God.

Cheers, Ufuoma.

That is true! I’m sorry, I don’t speak spanish. If you do speak Spanish and would like to translate my article, you may, but I would like to see your translation before you publish, and I’d also like you to link to my original post when you do.

Thanks for pointing this out. I will think about that if and when I decide to publish my experience in a book.

God bless you too.

Hi Keith, thanks for reading and dropping your comment. You said “it was decided” that you couldn’t join. Who made that decision?

No, I haven’t considered going back on the streets to “witness in my own way”. What am I witnessing on the streets? That I believe we should all live on the streets because Jesus had no place to lay His head?

I don’t believe or think like them anymore. I don’t believe that living on the streets and sharing flyers about “the system” and saying that Jesus teaches us to leave our jobs and follow Him, is the way Jesus wanted us to preach the gospel.

Is that what you believe?

Cheers, Ufuoma.

Yeah… sometimes, despite the evidence before them, they get so angry, they do not regard the fear of God, the beginning of wisdom. I’m glad you’re all caught up! Let’s see where Samuel takes him…
