Thanks Itunu 🙂 It’s a lesson we have to keep learning over and over… We have to keep reminding ourselves that God cares enough to listen and to help. It’s so easy to feel hopeless about things improving, but thank God for never forsaking us.

I appreciate your contribution!

Hi Brenda, thanks for reading my post and for your encouraging comment. I’m really very sad about what you are going through, but it sounds like you’re doing the right thing.

The situation you’re in is very delicate, in fact, I’d compare it to disabling a bomb…so very tricky. The wrong move could really make things worse for all of you. But you’re doing good by praying and not putting pressure on him. If you were to be aggressive, it might cause him to dig his heels further in.

Ultimately, commit him to God, hang on to God and be ready to help him whenever he calls. I know how I was, and no one could have talked me down fro, doing what I did. He probably needs to go through it to get through it. Just be there for him and show hi, the better way. When the JCs disappoint and it all crumbles, he will come back to you. Hopefully, sooner rather than later. Just hang in there and be a light for him.

Blessings to you and your family x

Hi Keith, thanks for reading and dropping your comment. You said “it was decided” that you couldn’t join. Who made that decision?

No, I haven’t considered going back on the streets to “witness in my own way”. What am I witnessing on the streets? That I believe we should all live on the streets because Jesus had no place to lay His head?

I don’t believe or think like them anymore. I don’t believe that living on the streets and sharing flyers about “the system” and saying that Jesus teaches us to leave our jobs and follow Him, is the way Jesus wanted us to preach the gospel.

Is that what you believe?

Cheers, Ufuoma.
